After a 10-day countdown that whipped Butch fans into a frenzy trying to figure out what his hints meant, he came out today with an EP of five mostly live songs he's covered.
He's already been trying some new songs during his present Hotel Cafe Tour, and they're being shared online. Nice how he uses his fans as beta testers :) He'll be working on two CDs soon.

So Trage did some research on this Butch chap and discovered he was in Marvelous 3. Loved those guys! I wish they'd have stuck around longer but alas, not so. So is Butch as good as the sum of the other parts?

Butch Walker is my latest obsession. I've blogged about him way too much, but to find those posts and pics on this blog you'd have to just search randomly, I guess. On my other blog (same stuff, hosted on my .Mac site), entries are posted in categories so his stuff is, naturally, under the "Butch Walker" category.
Yep, he was in the Marvelous 3, and has been on his own, writing, performing, and producing others since his band, uh, disbanded amicably. tom, if you liked him when he was the frontman of M3 and wrote/produced those songs, I think you'd like him solo. Thank goodness he no longer wears makeup!
I finally got to see him this summer. He's incredible, talented, funny, reaaaly nice, has tons more tats, and is just a little bit crazy ;) But what he did at the other nite's performance in SF is just a bit too ewww for me.

tom: Location is important, that Hotel Cafe concert was in SF. While performing on stage w/Jim Bianco, Butch said, "When in Rome..." and proceed to kiss him, full tongue and teeth action, for what some say was 5 seconds. I still love (happily-married) Butch, but he can get freaky sometimes.
Great interpretation of the word verification, btw. I've pretty much given up tryin' to be clever w/mine. Uh..this one is akovud. As in: Talking about my age (see below) can be veahd and akovud (say it fast). *shrug*

OMG, you're hysterical. Yep, Joe's hard to understand even when he spits his gum out. I think he's consciously chosen to speak clearer in his old age, tho. He can actually be understood on their new DVD. My Eagles are closing in on 60. Amazing.
